Logo

So I was thinking someday I might want a logo or watermark so I designed one to match my crafting name. Trying to decide if I like it or is it just a little too creepy?  Well that is what my fingers look like when I am finished stamping.

Another "Springy" card

I spent this snowy day hanging out with Cameron since he was home from school today. Love snow days! I had a little time to work on a new card and once again I found myself creating a Springy looking card. If it can't be spring outside I can bring it into my craft room :) This card is made using another new technique I found online to make silk flowers look like pressed flowers. I like the look. Just wishing now I hadn't sold all my leftover silk flowers at my garage sale last year. Well off to create some more spring in my craft room :)

LOVE my Silhouette machine

I just discovered this morning that I can cut acetate sheets (overhead transparencies) with my Silhouette machine!  I think that machine is probably the best investment I ever made in my craft making!  I am using it to make favor boxes for my table at the Ladies tea as well as boxes for Nicole as well.  I just download the template from the Silhouette site and adjust it to the size I want and let the machine cut it out. It cuts it and puts in the score lines so all I have to do it fold and tape it together!  I LOVE my Silhouette!  http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/shop.aspx

Taking baby steps

So I have found out that it is very easy to upload a card to my blog using Picasa. I love this card because it is so bright and cheery and reminds me of SPRING! Stay tuned as I continue to learn the world of blogging!

Joining the crowd

So I spend a lot of time reading others blogs and looking at their hand stamped creations - so I decided to see what was involved in starting my own.  WOW that was easy - now if I can just figure out how it all works!
