Busy Busy Busy!

I haven't blogged in a while because I have been busy building up my supply of cards and gifts for a craft show I am going to do with my lovely daughter-in-law.  A long distance craft show!  She lives in Fayetteville, NC and found one in her area.  I am going to split the cost and send my things down to her and she is doing the rest. I wish I could be there but it just isn't possible right now.  Gas prices to NC would eat up any profit I might make at the show :)
Enjoy some of the photos of my newest cards and creations.  Eventually I will set up a way for people to purchase cards from my site - but for now you would just need to contact me and let me know if you want to buy any.  My price is $3.50 per card, or 5 or more $3.25 each and 10 or more are $3.00 each.

Mountain Dew can flower pin

So here it is after midnight and I am still up crafting.  I saw this tutorial online on how to make a flower pin out of a soda can and there was no way I could have gone to sleep until I tried it.  We have an over-abundance of Mountain Dew cans in this house because I have two addicts living here.  I hope my neighbors didn't wonder what I was doing after midnight digging through the box of soda cans waiting to be returned - I wish I had more options, but all I could find were MD cans and one Monster Drink can - but here are the pins - so easy and CUTE!

Still learning

So in my blogging adventures today I learned how to add a slide show of my cards to the sidebar.  Many trial and errors and frustrated moments, but I finally figured it out.  An album of my cards runs as a slideshow and each time I add a card to that album it will automatically update and be added to the slideshow.  How cool is that!  I just hope that I can remember how to do it again :O

I had a day at home today so I decided the housework can wait and I had some fun in my craft room.  I seem to be doing a lot with purple lately.  Love this card with the clean white look.
This baby card is one that I used to make a long time ago and had forgotten about.  I resurrected the pattern and modified it a little.  I love this cute little card - the baby is peeking out to say hi!  The belly is a shaker card with blue glass beads inside.

Playing with stuff from Big Lots

So I found these cute little wedding favor boxes today at Big Lots and the little note pads too.  I pictured all the possibilities and couldn't leave them there.  This is before and after pictures of one of the possibilities.  They would make a cute thank you gift for someone.
