| Breakfast - YUMMO |
Didn't get to take many pictures today because of the rain and storms so enjoy some that I took around the cottage.

| My dish fairy maybe?? |

Today we were going to head down to Waimea Falls park and go to the botanical gardens and see the waterfalls and have lunch in the restaurant, but when the thunderstorms started at 6:30 a.m. and we checked the weather and found out that the rain and storms were pretty much and all day affair – we had to change our plans. Hmmmmm what do you do in Hawaii when it rains? You go to Wal-Mart!!! LOL That is just what we did! We hung around the cottage to see if the weather would change. We made breakfast – French toast made with thick Hawaiian sweetbread, fresh fruit salad, and pina colada juice. I did up the dishes and cleaned up the cottage a little and took a little nap (I had been awake since 3:30 a.m.) About noon we decided to have lunch from Ted’s bakery again – Greg headed down to pick up something while I showered and dressed. I told him to surprise me with something – he brought back a mahi mahi sandwich on a multigrain roll – absolutely fabulous choice! I haven’t had anything yet that I didn’t love there. He had a teriyaki beef sandwich. Then we headed out to Wal-Mart to get our underwater camera pictures developed and to pick up a few things we needed. (no top down on the convertible this time) We did one-hour developing on the pictures and were pleasantly surprised with the results. They weren’t bad for our first attempt at underwater photography! There are some pretty good ones in the bunch. We bought more film so we can take more underwater pictures. We either are going back to Hanauma bay or going down the street to Sharks cove and snorkel before we leave. We drove home and took a slight detour through old town Haleiwa – a cute little quaint town that got lost somewhere in the 70’s! We will definitely go back and explore some of the shops there. We got back to the cottage and I threw a load of towels in the wash – the washer and dryer are outside - and now we are getting ready to make supper – Grilled turkey breast, spinach salad, fresh sweet corn, and creamed potatoes. Maybe we will try again tomorrow to go to Waimea Falls park.
